Going to Bangkok in a week. What is the weather like this time of year? Also would like advice on things to see and good restaurants in the city. Not planning on travelling outside of the Bangkok area on this particular trip.

we'll be in hua hin to the 9th--got a driver to pick us up and bring to BKK ($70) for the 3 hour trip. we get to wait it out at either the radisson or hit the Korean Air biz class lounge--depends on how much shopping I haven't accomplished.
did you know there's a huge celebration the wkend of the 10th? pre bday for the king--river parades, etc. should be something else!
