Hey everyone! I was hoping that someone could help me with any info about nonreving to PVG on American or United. How do the loads look from ORD the last week of April (28 or 29)? The return is May 8 or 9. Any info/tips on making this nonrev adventure as smooth as possible would be greatly appreciated! Ive never nonreved to PVG before! Thanks in advance!

Well right now they look GREAT! Drop me a line a little closer to your travel dates and I'll check the AA loads for you.

BTW, if those dates are during a festival, loads can change fast.

All of those days look great on United as well. You can only fly business or coach, yes?

Do you have a chinese visa yet? If not, I suggest that you get one ASAP +-many days to give you many options, such as having it valid April 20 to May 19.

I've non-rev'd to PVG several times. It is an ultra modern airport.

When you are coming back: I suggest that you have a print out of your listing if that is possible. I've had the CSRs at the Beijing airport try and snake me out of first class to get one of their lower seniority buddies up front. Have a pen handy. When you get to the airport, you have to fill out an exit paper, and it is usually a big SNAFU at the kiosk where the papers are. You need to hand this in to an official to get to the customs/immigration line.

Have you ever been to China before?

To check on flight load..... I found out when I logged onto their commercial website and went thru the process of pricing the tickets...they do have seat charts that exhibit the same info from Apollo "9v" status. The seats not sold as of the date will appear so you can actually see what seats are available for that Service Class..... It's a secret....
