Thread: anyone nonrev on TN (Air Tahiti) to PPT?

End Oct, I non-reved the other direction PPT-LAX with TN. Be sure to be listed on the flight and there's a fee per pax per listing. In my case it was 10 euro (did the listing out of Europe) You'll need to have the ticket number, fare basis as well as employee and passport details when listing. At the airport in PPT seat assignment is at the check-in counter after they close the flight, but its a small airport and short distance to the gate for boarding. Found the in-flight service on TN quite good for economy. Had business standby tickets but they were apparently full up front (at least I hope so) I was also due to fly the LAX-PPT leg but my connecting flight got into LAX late and I arrived at the check in exactly one hour before departure only to be told that the flight was already closed. Thank goodness I had a back up ticket for Air France who had a flight later the same day. Try to avoid the the TN flights that either originate or continue to Paris. These are nomally impossible to get on, as per the advice of a TN employee. Enjoy Tahiti and as a side note I'd recommend visiting the other islands. All the more if your company also has an agreement with the sister company Air Tahiti (VT) which does island hopping services around French Polynesia.

TN IS AIR TAHITI NUI. GREAT AIRLINE TO NON REV HOWEVER, I DID GET STUCK IN TAHITI SINCE THEY DECIDED TO GIVE A WHOLE ROW TO A SURFER SINCE HE BROKE HIS LEG AND I WAS THE ONLY NON REV. SUCKS BUT HAVE GREAT TIME TRAVELING ON THEM.
