Ok, what is it that you enjoy most while traveling as a nonrev. Do you enjoy the flight or do you enjoy wandering around the airports and even checking out different airports? Do you enjoy the duty free stores? Do you enjoy the sports bar and having beer? Do you enjoy looking at the magazine stores? What is it you like or dislike about the airports?
How about this question. Do you enjoy the atmosphere of both? Flying and airports? Does it depend mostly which airport and which city, construction, atmosphere you go to? Here is some of my favorite airports.

1. IAH. Beautiful airport inside. I know my way around like a rat. PAPADEAUX has a great buffet if you like cajun rice, gumbo, catfish, chicken. They have a FOX SPORTS BAR too. A couple of decent food courts with some great chow.

2. NRT- Great terminal. You can smoke in smoking areas. They don't kick the smoker to the curb as they do here in the states. You can get a cubical room to rest, plus massages. They have kids entertainment and you can lay down on these sofas scattered around the airport. They got it together in Japan. They've come a long way since I first went to NRT in late 1980's. Expensive.

3. EWR- I like it there. Nice terminal. I kind of made it a ritual to eat at SBARRO'S there everytime I swing via EWR. No other SBARRO'S taste like that one in EWR.

4. HNL - Pretty scenic. You see mountains all around beautiful palm trees, great sports bars and little stores.

5. DCA- Home away from home. My kinda town. And NFL sportsbar shows REDSKINS on Sundays at DCA with people cheering. Try an EINSTEIN bros. bagel from there at the airport. Its real good.
