Boeing 777 you say? All the bells and whisltles? I don't know what you call bells and whistles, but I suspect you mean entertainment, seating and comfortableness. Troubleshooting issues, maintenance, doing software loads, on these airplanes are something else. Serious bells and whistles here from a standpoint view of a technician on these aircraft for many years. I can tell you that I find the DC-10 more comfortable up front than that of the B777. The seating is not neccissarily that great on a triple seven especially those Kioto seats. I don't like those seats, especially when they break down. I don't find the seating all that comfortable to be honest. (Though anything does beat coach except for the exit rows all to yourself.)
