Hello everyone, my name is Denyse and I live in St. Lucia in the Caribbean. I have a wealth of knowledge about the Southern Caribbean islands which are Dominica - The Nature and ECO-Tourism island; St. Vincent and the Grenadines - Home of some of the best diving areas in the world; St. Lucia - arguably the prettiest Caribbean island with the world's only drive in volcano and lush greenery; Grenada - the island of spice and the home of one of the most beautiful beaches in the Caribbean, Grand Anse beach; Barbados - Land of the Flying Fish and beautiful crystal clear waters; and last but not least, my native countries of Trinidad and Tobago - islands of contrast, home of the second largest Carnival in the world, rainbow people, nature trails, bird watching, crab racing, heritage festivals and of course beautiful sun, sea and sand.
I invite and welcome any questions which you may have on any of these islands. I will do my utmost to help in any way that I can. I'm looking forward to hearing from you!

While I'm at it, I should ask you about Grenada as well since I here it's a little less spoiled by tourism, which are places my wife and I are really in to.

    Thanks for any info.

My husband and I are looking for an all inclusive near Puerto Plata, Domincan Republic in Feb for a week. Of course, we're looking for a great rate with a beach ($115 or less). Any suggestions? Is it necessary to rent a car? What are taxi rates ?

We were thinking of flying into st lucia on march 4 through the 11th with 2 adults and 2 kids, ages 11 and 14. I work for delta so we would have to take american airlines into st lucia, wondering if you could advise on loads and any info on the area, thinking of staying at Anse Chastanet resort, wondering if that is a good ai or if you have other suggestions.

Hi Angel, Glad to hear from you! I think that it is wonderful that you plan on taking your mother to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, it is a lovely island group.
First of all where would you be flying from? Secondly, what sort of accomodations are you looking for if any?

St. Vincent's E.T Joshua Airport does not take international traffic so you would have to to fly into Barbados, St. Lucia or Grenada, then take an inter-island connecting flight on either LIAT or Caribbean Star.

A week is enough depending on what you want to do since these islands are not evry big. I am assuming that you have family living on the island so they can assist with the sightseeing.

Let me know exactly what the situation is and we can take it from there. Hope to hear from you soon.

    Hi Angel,

Please advise a price range and whether you would like to be close to airport or close to Kingstown and then I could advise a suitable guesthouse/hotel.

    Denyse,

I'm an AA spouse & my buddy from SJU is a registered companion of a ticket agent there. He is looking for the name of one or two of the better (best) tarpon fishing guides in Trinidad. He will be there for a tournament in Aug. 2005 & is looking for some local knowledge. You just might be the ticket!!!

    Thanks,

    Lee

Hi Denyse. I hope to travel to Barbados 08-22 Jul with my husband & kids (aged 15&16). Could you recommend the best hotel for us to stay AI. I've got a few interline quotes but can't get Almond Village to reply. Is this a good resort to stay at? I think that the rates will be best there. Is the weather OK in July? Thanks for any advise that you can offer.
    Best Regards Gwen
