I just complete a non-rev trip on Air Canada to Montego Bay and it was nice. Flew LGA-YYZ-MBJ and got executive 1st throughout. I ended up losing my $400 cellphone going though security at LGA. I don't know who to believe; the flight attendant said the captain called LGA and advised them of my cellphone and they did find it and would fly it over on the next flight and it would be waiting in Toronto when I come back but it wasn't there when I came back from jamaica. I'm not sweating it though as nextel gave me there latest cellphone free of charge. Nextel Customer Service is the best. Anyway, I spent a week in Jamaica and going back I did MBJ-YYZ-LGA and got executive 1st all the way again. All and All, this was my first time flying A/C non-rev and it was the best and easiest to deal with. It was a cheesy 1st class as the plane was a 319 but it was good. On my next trip to Europe I'll probably go through canada again.

Venus, this is quite the interesting Jamaica report. We know a lot about the flight but absolutely nothing about your stay in Jamaica. Yes mon, I'd like to know what you did on the island after you started with the rum punch; that is, if you can remember and it's not totally embrassing.

    Keep'em flying

Well, When I got to Jamaica I was SHOCKED to see the Immigration line. I've traveled to a lot of countries before and never have I seen immigration lines so long. After the 45 mins of that immigration line nightmare I exit the airport and my ride was waiting for us. I stayed at a guesthouse in Mobay which was just perfect and economical $50 Night Double. The guesthouse was about 5 mins walk into the center of mobay so it was awsome and on the hill so I could see the cruise ships as they come into port. My first day all we really did was swim in the pool and watch tv and got a big bag of you know what for $500. Day two my ride picked us up and we went to Negril for the day. Day 3 we went to Doctor Cove beach where we saw a few fat ladies going crazy over the jamaican men "green card alert". Day 4 we went to the market in the city and walked around town a little. It was nice but boy the sun is hot in Jamaica. Day 5 all we did was swim in the guesthouse pool and drink from the bar we were so tired that we just stayed in that whole day. Day 6 we got to the airport and board our flight back to Toronto. We had to overnight in Toronto so I rented a car for the night and stayed at an hotel near the airport. The next morning we got up early and drove to Toronto where we spent a few hours in town then head back to the airport in the afteroon for the flight back to New York.

All and all it was nice and fun. I did see my life flashed before my eyes many times while being driven but it was okay. I just loved the guesthouse where I stayed at from the staffs to the maid to the meal on demand service.
