Default Anyone use XM or SIRUS in their cars?

I got this thing in the mail telling me that I would have a couple of weeks free of XM radio for my car via my vin number. Pretty cool stuff.

I have Sirius really enjoy it - loads of channels. There’s dedicated channels for all types of music, comedy, sports - even Elvis has a channel, just anything and everything.
Palms I know you’re into 70’s music, there’s a channel devoted just to that decade and two just to great jazz.
Crystal clear reception except for where you might expect, I’ve lost signal in a few underground parking garages and some tunnels, but never lost signal in the Hills, the Sierras or the Sepulveda Tunnel under LAX.*wink*
My radio came installed from the factory but you can probably handle your own.
    Things to consider:
You can stream Pandora free and custom build your station.
Look at all the packages and be sure before you give them your credit card - it’s murder switching.
Lastly billings, I haven’t had any problems, however friends of mine have run into problems with automatic renewal.

You gotta watch that auto billing. I had that issue with Majic Jack once, but had to cancel it via online chat with someone. Unbelieveably, they hooked me up good. I got lucky. But the idea of going online to cancel with no phone number contacts made me very leary.

I've had XM for 5 years and won't have another vehicle without it, if I can help it. Terrestrial radio just can't offer the same variety.

I don't leave a card on file with XM so they mail me an invoice at renewal time. I immediately call to get my bill lowered. For example, I just renewed this month. The bill they mailed was $186 for all the channels for one year. I said I wouldn't pay that much and was going to consider terminating my service. Suddenly there was a $102 rate for the same service. Last year I was able to do the same thing.

Anyone see men in black 3? I was wondering what the song was in the background with Andy Warhol scene. That's the best movie in Men in Black I've seen yet!!!

I think it was more like the Velvet Underground, song called "I'm waiting for the man". There was a cool scene with Andy Warhol in the movie, and he was supposedly a "Man in black" type, or undercover working for the spooks. I think this was the song they were playing in the background at his party. He said he couldn't stand hearing guitars and drawing art work of Campbell Soups and wanted to get reassigned. It was great.

Darned good tune, but something is definately missing to go with that.....It's been so long I can't remember the name nor taste of it anymore.
