Anybody serve in the combat areas as contractor or civilian capacity? I guess this includes maybe pilots and mechanics flying into Kuwait or other war zones official or unofficial.

Membership in the CVA is open to those who have served in official and nonofficial war zones or during domestic terrorist events while in the employ of the United States Government, whether in a civilian or contractor capacity. Here is their web site.
