    Cool Smartphone+Travelnet = awesome

I asked about this once before and at the time there was limted compatabilty. You were able to flight list and view listings, but not see the stand-by list (on the iPhone & Droid, the Blackberry didn't work at all). I don't know exactly when things changed, but some time in the last month we have gained the ability to see the full stand-by list. I tried last month and it didn't work on my iPhone.

I tried again today, and on the iPhone 3Gs and Droid you can. It looks like the Blackberry is still shut out, though. I haven't tried on an iPhone 2G or plain 3G, yet. I will try to get answer for the 3G and HTC Tilt tonight. I've already tried 2 different Blackberrys and neither would load.

I didn't have time to get with the guys who have the other 2 phones I mentioned. I'll see them next week, though.

I'll check with wife on the Opra Mini. She's the one with the BB.

This was a such a stress reliever yesterday with all the delays. It was great not having to bring the laptop (even the tiny one) for such a short trip.

    HTC Tilt works.
    LG Envy Touch does not.

I'll post more phones as I come accross them.

What operating systems (including version) do those run? Windows Mobile? Android? Proprietary OS? I'd imagine that's the real driving factor...

You're probably right. Droid runs Android, iPhone runs Safari, and BB on the Blackberry. I'll have my wife try some other browsers to see if that helps.

If anyone else has some info please post it up.

That is a disappointment. I had access to standby lists (rev and nonrev), seat assignment, aircraft configurations and much more on my blackberry for more than two years at Continental. That will be like going back to the dark ages without it.

For those Delta employees that are not aware of my status, I intend to jump ship from Continental to Delta this fall. I have been on furlough for about a year now. They are calling in the furloughs and I am not to far off from being called back. But I decided to start over at Delta. I am sick of paying to fly on another carrier to get out of SLC. With Delta I will be able to go anywhere. I am waiting for a face to face interview with Delta. I was told it will probably be within the next month so I am looking forward to it.

They say they are going to make it work with all. It may now, but the last few times my wife has flown it was for work, so revenue tickets and no need to check. I can get her to look if you want.
