Zed ticket on Delta Airline
Trying to get to Bkk in Feb always used NWA to get there. Since our service charge agreement has gone away, where we could buy a Business class ticket. Our agreement with DL is zed-lo and priority code s3d, would i go ahead of Buddy Pass ticket holders. Since Flt 295 Starts in SEA and goes all the way thru would i have priorty over people getting on in NRT. What r the chances of me getting Business Class. I can route SEA PDX SFO LAX.
I'm not aware of any no agreement to put zed lo tkt holders in biz elite on DL

If you fly S3 anyhting (so how is that a zed--are you sure it's not a yield fare?) you'd be technically ahead of S4 buddies but they have the right to business class and zeds don't (unless you have something in writing??) hmmmm--maybe there is more to this??
I have not seen any zeds forward lately on INT travel routes, so I doubt you should count on it. If you're flying zed you shouldn't have any connection priority over emp pass riders, should you? I'd call your pass bureau but I don't see how zed gives you S3anything? That doesn't seem correct (as in that's not really a zed, it's another type of pass?)
Our rules state zed low on partners is still zed--below buddy passes and coach only.

hmm interesting. On our pass policy website says Listing 800-221-1212, boarding priority code S3D... Zed low fare.

PS--our agreement [in reverse] states coach Y class only on AS on zed low just like most OALs, which puts us after any AS buddy pass riders

Just spoke with the Pass bureau and that is the agreement--Priorty Code S3D. She mention that Delta is good for upgrading non-revs. I just want a seat dont care where it is. Yes it is difficult non-reving out of BKK. Always have a back-up plan. CI/BR/Klm airlines works great for that.
That is still very strange that you can displace a DL employee's buddy pass rider, when we don't have that priority on AS on a zed as DL employees. Have at it, havoc and create a great trip! If you need a really good spa in BKK in the embassy area, let me know!

I asked a friend about your priority code. He said S3D is for Skyteam employees on Delta, and also for codeshare airlines employees.
It puts you before all buddy passes.
I suppose that you fall into the "codeshare airlines employees" box.
Is that right?
i found this out,,take a look in the Genereal disscussion from of this site,,,First/business class upgrades on major carriers.
