    Just as an FYI...

Delta ticket counter agents can no longer process paper ZED tickets for the airlines participating in the E-Zed program...we get an error message whenever we try to process one in DLTerm...found that out yesterday when trying to do a ZED ticket on jetBlue for someone out of PBI...if the airline in participating in E-ZED you MUST purchase via travelnet...

I am such a technopeasant ,. I have a flip phone that hasn't completed remedial phone 101, much less desired to become smart.
I think we'll trade mine in for the Android and Boss will get that one, and I'll get his BBerry.
But, I am clueless about most phones since I actually use mine to speak to people!

Thanks for that heads up. DLnet said we still had 3 weeks before it was mandatory.

Anyone looked on Travelnet to see what it says now? Also, has anyone tried to book an eZED on a smartphone?

Saw the posting about the extension to January 5th and tried to do an EZed on B6 again last night and it went thru with no issues...glad they reinstated us with access, for a while at least...

The big thing this tells us is don't count on any extensions after the 5th.

Hello all, and Happy New Year, Bonne Année, Fröhliches Neues Jahr!
Thanks for all this info about eZed, I would have started my France trip on Sunday without a clue about this if it hadn't been for y'all. So I started bying an AF ticket NCE-CDG, just to try, and got through to pricing and stopped, because I really don't want it yet. But here's a question: does refunding work electronically, and well? When someone has had some experience with cancelling ann eZed booking, using eZed, please let us know if it works as expected..like automatic refund to the CC used to pay? Thanks.

Haltz--Youmight want to get on tomorrow's flight--not sure if Sunday will be a good one with the carry-over from canceled connections--IF you can get to JFK
There is not way I'll get on a connection out of CVG to make the flight--20 up front and I won't need a seat as of now.(miracles do happen but snow+NYC isn't a typical miracle to expect!!)
    Good luck, happy travels

Hi, 767er and others. Made it fine on the 9th DL 82 JFK-NCE. The only nail-biter was:up-front or not? We had about 6 hrs at JFK, so I kept looking at the standby list vs airpost stby list, and lo and behold when we went from the former to the latter our hire date changed from 6/24/04 to the day's date 1/09/11! And we got S4 priority. Seemed fishy, because suddenly we were behind all the Buddy Passes. I got screenshots and will send them to 9E pass bureau, for what it's worth. Talked to the gate agent (when she had a free moment) and she said that's the way it is. Then, at boarding time, the Airport stby list suddenly showed us assigned to up-front seats, so we uttered a silent cheer. Still didn't have paper yet, the gate agent was all alone handling a 180-seat plane, so she was at the gate itself. We made it to where she was, she gave us our passes: 24 a and b. We sucked it up. settled into our coach seats, stuffed the carry-ons overhead. Door about to close, along comes gate agent, gives us two new passes: 1e and 4C, and we scramble forward. Bless her heart. Last 2 seats up front.
Wish us luck for the trip back Mar 25!
