Never been to mbj myself, but check what the flight is uathorized to sell and that should give you an idea as to whether the flight overbooks by alot or if it does not. At my airline flights out of vacation/beach destinations do not usually have a haigh authorization level, meaning the no-show rate is uaully low. So if the flight is showing as overbooked I would not really chance it.

    Regards,

most locals were just pests--nonstop obnoxious, can't take no for an answer. It reminded me of Morocco and I will never return there either. Wait staff was surly and pushy and lazy. "Soon come, mon" was the way they worked--like nowhere else in the carib. And if they didn't serve well, they still harassed for more money. It was a standard policy: if you don't pay me more I will aggravate the hell out of you until you do--then I'll shut up and walk away, but not until then. It happened alot.

    Yes, and I loved it!
We only flew into MBJ and then got a shuttle to Ocho Rios.
We did not encounter anyone that was rude or pesky.
    Lucky maybe???
We pretty much stayed off the beaten path though, where only locals go.
The only touristy thing we did was Dunn's River Falls and we were not bothered there at all.
I loved the jerk chicken and would go back just for that alone!!!

Thanks for a great clear review! As for the shuttle to ocho rios, what's the procedure to use one of those?
