Default memphis and new york city

Hello, is there a way for the general public to check flight loads and non rev prices? A friend offered me a buddy pass to go visit New York from Memphis sometime. I am kind of planning now, but my friend is out of contact, so I just wanted to see if I could check the prices myself.

Also, someone told me that you can get a confirmed flight off of priceline or something for as cheap as a non rev flight, so it's really only worth it to use non rev stuff to fly international. Is this true?

No publicly available sites, sorry, but I can tell you that MEM to LGA or EWR is less than $100 round trip, if I'm doing this correctly (I have access to DL's system, but don't get buddy passes with them and only have limited flight benefits). Also, it wouldn't be much on a shorter regional flight like that, but you do get first class if it's available.

Spongebue is correct. Buddy pass prices run about $98 for RT for that distance. Same for SFO/SLC or CVG/ATL or MCO/CVG, CVG/NY (any)
MEM would be same. I'd be surprised if you can get a fare in that range except on a special or Low Cost Carrier like Spirit?
Int travel is def worth buddy pass IF you're flexible and willing to change destination/dates last minute but pass ticket overseas can be $4-5-600+ (with a shot at business class as the dangling carrot)
The key is flexibility--always and in all ways! (anxiety is the "bonus" that might come with pass travel, too)
