Default ATL- CUN non rev travel

I am planning on heading down to CUN the 10th- this Saturday. I have noticed that on all the flights that day coach has already been oversold. Is there generally a good bit of no shows for this route or do you think the flights will all be filled up? Already booked my hotel... :-/ Thanks for your helpp!

They are barely oversold in coach--all ATL flts--with very short lists (some w/zero pax)
If you start early, you should have no trouble sitting up front.
Bet there are still seats in coach for the first 2 of the day...late sleepers!!

PS--I hate you because I really NEED to be there already. (enjoy, despite my diatribe!)

We got a pretty good cold spell down in SE Texas, nothing higher than 40 yesterday, today, maybe a bit warmer, but lows in the freezing mark. Kind of overcast all day yesterday too, though I see sun right now today. Crap is blowing in from Colorado, or out west somewhere, places like AMARILLO up in the panhandle is ridiculous. It's colder there right now than in New England. Something like low in around 5 degrees and high's in the teens.
Got a bit under the weather on my days off, and I too was fantasizing about a trip to the Yucatan or the Mexican Pacific coast for a warm up. Vacation days are very slim, must wait till at least the first of the year to recupe some vacation time. The good news is that cold WXR in SE Texas is short lived, as in it draws back until the next blue northern comes again.

Do you think there will be a good bit of no shows because the flight isn't looking too good now with me being at the bottom of the non rev list and the last flight today being oversold?? Thanx for your help

Not sure which flight you are listed on, but from my experience I think you would make every flight. 3rd flight at 10:55am looks very good.

Speaking of Mexico, anytime you need a place in Cozumel check to see if I am home. Will be happy to offer youa couch at the least, but usually a room with 2 doubles. Just a thanks for all the help I get here.
