Thread: Delta Vacations

Hi all, i was just going to post a little review on my experience with Delta Vacations (MLT Vacations). I was looking to purchase a honeymoon package for around 3k to someplace in the Caribbean for May of this year. Well back in July of 2012, while i was browsing the employee perks section, i came across the Deals with Delta section and found out we get 20% off with Delta Vacations. So i went through the steps to get the coupon code and started pricing for the trip (resort and airfare) for about a week. The only reason I opted to buy tickets was because I have less than 5 years with Delta, and plus it will be nice to not have to look for a seat near the boards at the gate so i can keep a watchful eye on the standby list. After a week of price comparing with places like Perx, dargal, and other interline sites, I found out that the Delta Vacations package (hotel and flight) came out to $300-$400 cheaper than purchasing seperate with interline discounts. After I went online and selected our resort and flights, I made a deposit to save my reservation, and the part i liked the most was that I was able to call Delta Vacations and make a payments towards the trip. Even thought the trip wasnt paid in full, I was able to go online and view/change our seats fo the flight, and view all of our reservation info. I was also able to get in contact with the folks at the resort in AUA, and confirm the reservation, and when they found out it was for a honeymoon they gave us their honeymoon package and threw in a couples massage on them. All in all i would use them again if i ever needed them to. 41 days until our trip !!!!!
