I hope someone here can answer this for you. The only time we had to pay cash as nonrevs was DR and they just gave us a receipt to reuse after not boarding and we did it 3x until we had open flight. I would think it would be the same but why not email them? congrats on PADI. Have you tried Belize yet?

I have not flown into Belize. I did go there on a Carnival Cruise. I remember the excursion operators and locals telling me that prices for excursions double when a ship is at port. Although, we paid very little for a boat ride to a private sandbar island. From there, my wife and daughter played on the island with a lot of activities, including a trampoline in the ocean on a float. My son and I caught a small boat ride out to the Barrier Reef in the deep sea with no land in site. We snorkeled with a guide for about 3 hours and had a blast! The reef was only about 10 ft deep and visibility was excellent! So, we paid $80 for all three of us, this was about 5 years ago.

We also Shopped in Belize at the city port. We never made it out of the port.
