NonRev Europe Thanksgiving
I've been flying non rev on Detla for years, and would never try to fly domestically over Thanksgiving. But what about European travel? I'm thinking about flying from SEA to AMS on the Friday before thanksgiving (November 21st) and returning the day after Thanksgiving (Friday November 28th). Anyone have any experience with how heavy the loads are on these days? I'd appreciate any advise.
Never did it. Highly wouldn't recommend it..

May not be too bad IF you don't have to do any domestic flying to do it - if a nonstop, it could be worth keeping an eye on. But keep a close eye on those loads, including any possible nonrevs you'd have to compete with. And consider traveling ON Thanksgiving. Very few people travel day of.

Friday to Friday ThanksG nonrev holiday period to/from US is asking for problems. Are you willing to do CDG instead and get to AMS after? You'll be putting yourself into Sat connections (or take Thalys) Quite limited w/1 flt per day. Extremely popular route from west coast, too. Good luck and don't be a stranger here.
