I was there this pas Oct.
I'm checking into railtours and similar options. Railtours has lots of trips--even a HoHo along Dublin Bay, but seems to only operate on Sats. Several overnights to major sights--Moher, Galway, etc. Will be working w/TA for more details/reviews. Update later!

Thanks a lot for the info Mrs 767er, have a great day!!
If your looking at venturing into Northern Ireland Ive heard the Giants Causeway is a must see. Oh yes the experience flying back can be a hassle since the ticketing agent at the check-in counter assigns the nonrevs seats, they do not let you go into security without a seat assignment. Luckily my coworker told me this ahead of time, so when we checked in we used S2's. If you dont use S2's they have everyone line up at a back wall and a out 1.5 hours before departures they assigned the seats to the rest of the nonrevs that didnt use an S2. This can be problematic since you have to go through airport security then US customs then security again before you get to the gate. Needless to say some folks didnt make the flight because of it.
Good info, thanks.
