When I selected this forum I knew that it had a little worse of a reputation for being friendly to update and modify than others. Yet it had the features that I felt we needed.

I've spent hours going through 2 different style sheets to get the colors updated (yet here I am filling out this form where some elusive greys still live). I put a background image on the dark blue headers to give the 3d effect. Incorporating the site header into the forum was another chore and a half.

There are several forums that deal exclusively with "skinning" and modifying this forum. I've been dissapointed to find the official company one a bit unfriendly. The information is scattered across the universe and if you post a question that's common and may already have an answer somewhere, they just ignore you. I'm just not feelin' the love in there... thinking they are kinda "code snobs"... if your not a heavy duty coder (programmer) like them.

So I'm networking around several different places to build a list of PHP programmers, looking specifically for those with experience with Invision Power Board. I'll sub out some simple stuff I'm stuck on and hopefully click with one or 2 that will be great to work with on larger modificaitons. I've got some cool stuff in mind.

I hope to get the Blogs and Photo Gallery installed next week so we can start moving some of the old content and trip reports.
