    Bonjour,

    Hello

Here are the information which I was able to find on the visits as well as the excursions proposed on the D day beaches.

From Paris (St Lazard Railway Station), are needed two hours to join Bayeux by train (attention few fast trains, a change of train is to be foreseen in Caen):

I hope that you will find an excursion which will be convenient for you.

    A bientĂ´t

    Xavier

Xavier- I was given a couple of buddy passes on Delta that I would like to use to get to Paris in January. I understand this is a hard airport to get into on standby during most seasons, but what do you think it would be like in mid-winter? Also, wondering if the riots might put a damper on tourism.
    thank you so much.

I would say that January is a pretty good time to get to paris. Talk to the person who gave you the buddy passes. Delta has an automated phone system called the TravelineVRU that will allow you login and check loads. It gives you recommendations and actuall seat inventories. Be advised though...its too far out to really know. Wait till December.

Also, you can check out my post about DL non-reving to Europe here:

Don't let me scare you off from CDG though...the winter is not that bad. The only thing I would suggest is that you stay away from Martin Luther King weekend (when all the schools are out in the South), and if you want business class then shoot for Tues or Wed and be sure to dress right.

Look here for more information directy from Delta about non-reving

Let us all know how you fare and if you have any more questions once you start looking at your options.

    PS...
Delta buddy pass fares go up by 12% on January 1, 2006 so be sure to get your tickets before then. If you need to change your dates in January you won't pay the new fare so if you don't know the exact date, just pick a generic one and change it later!

    Bonjour Suzanne !

I am really sorry for the delay of my answer, my old computer returned the heart, therefore January is a good month to come to Paris. I cannot inform you about DL flights but I can advise you on AF flights (even if we do not upgrade the SB systematically).

Happy new year and bienvenue Ă* Paris

    Suzanne,
One more note about the Buddy Passes. As of 2004, Delta Buddy passes are only valid as e-tickets on Delta operated flights. This means that the codeshare flights operated by Air France are not eligible for use with a buddy pass.

Have a great time in paris!

    Hello Xavier!
Thanks for opening this thread because i´ts exactly what I was looking for.
I am planning on a trip CDG-NRT-CDG with Air France this year. I would like you to tell me which month would be better for trying the flight with ZEDs. Could you provide me with some info on loads on all the flights on this route with AF for February?
    Thank you.

    Manuel.

    Bonjour Xavier,

I will be trying to get from CDG-CMN (Casablanca, Morocco) on ZED tickets on AF next month.

I would be most appreciative if you can give me an idea of the loads on the flights.

    I am interested in:
    - CDG-CMN 10 and 11 February
    - CMN-CDG 25, 26, 27 February

Also, will AF leave non-rev behind if economy class is full but there are seats in business class?

Is there also a special 'staff' counter at CDG for non-rev standby travel? I know with BA they have such an arrangement at LHR. Or can we just check in at the 'normal' customer desks?

    Merci!

All the flights are excellent, no stand by listed for the moment.

We do have staff counter but not for CMN you have to go directly to chek-in

Normaly if the Eco class is full we upgrade first AF staff then Skyteam staff on business

Enjoy your trip in Maroco !
