Does anyone know of a company that handles interline or discount travel on the Concorde. It could either be BA or AF. The info is for my Father, so if the company is not for nonrevs he would still like to contact them.

    Thanks in advance!

I don't know of a company but you should be able to talk to your pass bureau about it. We used to be able to book it for something similar to an ID-90 but only through our pass bureau.

Hi Coyne, nonBA norev discounts on Concorde have always been something of a mystery to me, bathed in more smoke and mirrors than your average UN negotiation. For example as far as I know there is no such thing as a standby (ie ID90) on Concorde - it would detract from the brand.... but others may believe otherwise...

Last I checked (I'll check again) the non-rev agreements were suspended (by both BA and AF) after the crash in Paris, before that it was $800.00 R/T on BA (one way on the Concord and the other on a BA regular jet) I forgot which way it was which, also it was positive space, BA gave you the date and you traveled then.

    Coyne,

When is your father going? I just read on cnn.com that BA and AF have jointly announced that Concord will cease operations in October.

    Randy,
He has tickets to travel in around 2 weeks. I think he got them in the nick of time since he is using points.

I have also been advised that BA suspended any ID travel on SSC flights post-AF crash.

There are rumours of special fares being launched (VSONIC2) soon as a swansong to the operation... however, bookings have soared since the mothballing announcement so they may be suspended. Also, my investigations within BA sales confirm that they have heard less about it than me!

My ear is firmly to the ground on that one!

From the Mail ( London news) last Sunday.....
'Sir Richard Branson is still pursuing his ambition to buy the entire BA Concorde fleet'.
Maybe Virgin will have the concorde soon.
