You can do it by train. See Topic "Private guide in Rome" at <a href="http://nonrev.net/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/55260999/m/507101434/r/507101434#507101434" target="_blank">http://nonrev.net/eve/forums/a/tpc/f/55260...01434#507101434</A>.
You could contact CSW by a private message to get details of how they made the transfer.

    Hi Ed,

I have done the transfer and it is very easy. I am not sure when the trains leave but I believe the non stop leaves :10 after and the local train leaves :20 after the hour.

The Cruise ships drop you off in town and you can walk to the station in 10 mins. Very close and easy to find. Buy the roundtrip ticket and you must punch (validate) it before you get on the train. Look for the stops as to where you want to go. I think I remember the first stop for Rome is near the Vatican city and the last stop is near the Spanish steps.

    Good luck,
email me if you have questions.
