Hei Fleso,
Well the good news is that returning back on the 25th from MIA shouldn't be a problem as there are over 100 empty between the 2 flights having said that its a very popular destination so there may be a lot of staff trying .. its too early to know as yet.
On the outbound the 7th looks the best with about 30 empty to MIA and EWR but its still too early to give a better opinion.
I'm guessing that you plan to connect that morning from somewhere in Norway and guess that LGW is not really an option.

OK thanks.Britski99.
LGW could also be a possibility if space looks better. I can stay a night at a hotel near LGW.
What is the situation to MIA and EWR from LGW??

I was thinking more of our direct MCO and TPA flights from LGW rather than MIA or EWR as I'm guessing from your other posts that the Orlando area is your final destination. At the moment the direct MCOs do not look that bad ... as usual with the proviso that its still early by staff travel standards..

Thanks again.
I guess we wait until 1 week prior to dep. and take a look at both MIA,MCO,EWR and TPA situation on july 7 or 8.
thanks

Hei again,
The choice is still not obvious. The current situation is on the 7th the LGW-MCO flight has 30 actuals empty and very few staff listed for it so is a very good chance. The BA209 has about 40 empty and about 15 staff listed and the BA207 has about the same. Based upon the current situation unless loads of other staff suddenly appear I think that you would get on any of the flights but no guarantees of course.

In respect of booking rent-a-car have you made plans? If not Alamo offer a very good rate for Airline staff using rate ID code RP. This is very good if you have more that one driver as you get up to 3 extra drivers and a full tank of fuel included in the rate. You can reserve it online at http://www.alamo.com and you only have to pay when you collect the vehicle in the USA ( useful if you might get bumped or have to go to a different destination ).
If you need any more info then let me know.
I will check the flights again at the start of next week and advise if there are any significant changes.

Rgds

OK thanks for all your info. I guess your estimated number of free seats is for july 7. What about july 8?
Regarding the rent-a-car I will check your tips up against SAS employee rate at hertz.
I am very pleased with your info.
