Where are you flying from? Also, define "companion".
Welcome aboard!

I am also considering Ibiza in Sept. Although my plans are not definite yet. If I do go, I will be non-reving to Barcelona on my airline I am employed with from the states. Then non-reving on Iberia which offers 4 or 5 flights daily from Barcelona and they offer 1 non-stop from Madrid. Air-Europa also offer flights from Barcelona/Madrid but I am not familiar with that airline.
Does anybody know a decent hotel or what the the weather will be like for September? Is it still the tourist season for Ibiza? I have looked at photos of Ibiza and it reminds of Cancun.
I am sorry, I am flying from California, actually, I can non rev out of anywhere Southwest Airlines flies to. I was thinking about going out of Houston Intercontinental or Chicago O'Hare, then buying a vacation package including round trip and hotel from expedia for around $1300. It is too risky trying to non rev out there during the peak season. I am planning to go Sept 3-11th. Thanks for the help
Iberia from ORD is an option. LH from LAX connecting thru FRA. AerLingus from LAX or ORD thru DUB. There are a host of other connecting options but this might be a start.
As for the "companion", if this is just a companion and not a domestic/committed partner then you really don't have many options. If this person is a partner then you have several options open to you.
One package option is Open Skies www.openskiesonline.com they offer some packages that non-airline companions can take for a supliment. This companion info is not always listed on their site so you may need to call them or send them an email. I've also noticed from time to time that Airway Vacations offers companion travel. www.caesarhotels.com Again, you may need to call for companion info.
Your dates should be okay for space-a. Not fantastic, just okay. You're at the tail end of peak and the beginning of shoulder seasons.
I hope this helps.
