It's been a while since I had the displeasure of being bumped overnight at CDG--your safe bets are usually Accor hotels like Ibis and Formulae (their motel 6 and next step up) you can access online with the codes given previously. I always make a note on the way to the airport, in case I have a problem later. I keep the notes in a guide book (soprry, but my hubby has ours with him). Please advise of a hotel at the CDG Paris airport in case I need to stay over if I get bumped. Thanks[/b]

ITA...there is an Ibis next to the airport that is very easy to get to/from and very inexpensive; especially with the airline rate. It's not the greatest hotel, but very convenient (VERY close to the airport) and cheap.
Good luck!

Many thanks!

Real cheap is Formule 1 by the airport. A step above, but still very inexpensive, and my reccoemndation is Hotel Premiere Classe by the airport. Good luck! You've no doubt looked at the other thread about getting out of CDG; look at my post about March 2005 about my very negative experiences. (search for my username and CDG). Maybe it's gotten better, but we're still avoiding it like the plague, flying DL Nice-JFK instead, and last summer even paying confirmed (tho low-cost fortunately) to get from southern France to AMS (parents can't non-rev on KLM) and then over to the US.Please advise of a hotel at the CDG Paris airport in case I need to stay over if I get bumped. I stayed at the Formule 1 next to CDG the 2nd night of my ordeal. Very cheap and it was clean. Space age showers - kinda cool. The first night we actually went back into Paris cuz we didn't know what else to do. Like teenagers we snuck onto the train back to Paris (shhhhhh and I don't advocate that...but we felt desperate) and went back to the hotel we checked out of earlier. The guy at the desk felt sorry for us and gave us a good rate but it was still twice the price of that Formule 1.
