I work for IB, so I&#39;ll give you some tips.
About the listing, it is not mandatory to list at any Iberia flight to standby for, but the standby passengers who list for a flight have more priority than the ones who dont list. If you are sure the flight looks good, doesnt matter.
If you want to list on IB, just call Iberia reservations, and tell them you have a ZED ticket and wish to list for a flight on Seat Availability Status. They will make a PNR for you in a minute. Sometimes, contractors who dont know very well the system will tell you that you dont have to list. Just insist or hang up and call again.
At the same time, if you want to ask them how is the flight, I am pretty sure they will look it for you. At least they will tell if looks good, bad or overbooked.
