    Default Brussels?

Anybody been? I see some old posts but I'd like to hear from anyone who's been recently.
    Thanks

Our dear family friends live in Zeebrugge and I have yet to visit them. The last time I saw them, they came here to KY and prior to that I met them in Paris. I'm sure it lovely!! I've seen pics of the seaport and it's the cold, wild North Sea at it's best.
    Sorry I don't have first-hand info.
Any particular reason for Belgium? I guess it would depend on what time of year, too.

Brussels was my first trip off of the North American continent.
I loved it and would like to go back.
If you go, check out La Rose Blanche Restaurant at the Grand Place.
    Great food.......

BRU appealed to me bcs of the Christmas market. I am also a big Magritte fan and the big museum is there. I have time off and the flights look easy going. Unless of course, there is another major snow storm, always a risk with winter flights though. The other thoughts were Venice or London but my friend from Venice says often the water levels are very high in Venice and can be very smelly and hard to get around. London flights don't look great.

I hope VCE isn't bad for JAn--Boss just bid for it, along w/NCE--also BCN and SNN (which I've never visited!)
At least VCE is cheap--around $40 for fees/taxes
All those UK fees kill me! I think they run about $140 now (ow)
