Looking for advice on Non Rev Travel to Russia. Is it possible to get a Visa when traveling standby non rev? What travel dates should I use on the application? Will Non Rev Standby Listing suffice for required onward travel document?
Thanks

I did this in January 2013.
I got my visa through gotorussia.com and it was a simple process. I will use them again when I go back.
I gave them a window of when I would travel and a nonrev listing.
Russia generally gives 30 day visas so if you don't go in that 30 day window, you have to get a new one.
My friend who was to go with me, used travisa.com and they gave him a 3 day visa for his exacts dates only. We did not go then because of full flights so he got screwed and had to buy a new visa.

Hi, Georgi! Glad to see you made it to the site. Are you still considering Russia? I still think you're crazy...hahaha
I don't think you can get the short visa any more for your needs. Putin has clamped down on US citizens. Even crew visas require different info from 2013. As for the places you've traveled--only fill in 3.
You'll find lots of destinations here and so many experts to assist.
IST is amazing and the visa is online for $20. Accoms are rather cheap, too. JNB is really tough for anyone w/out S2.
Hope you'll add some of your nonrev travel reports in the near future.
Cheers!
