Default Best Time to Nonrev to CDG? Now...

Following the terrorist attacks in France, Air France and all its staff have been sharing in the pain of the victims' relatives and friends. The world is still in a state of shock after the terrible events that have triggered a wave of support for France and its universal values.

Beyond the emotion that we have felt, and even if it is too early to assess the impact on our operations, we can already see, worldwide, that some people may be scared to travel to France. Since these events, Air France has been in permanent contact with the authorities in order to ensure its customers and staff the highest safety and security standards.

In this difficult context, we must react and reassure our customers. Alexandre de Juniac will visit key markets to defend and promote Air France's image. This week he is in New York to promote our Company and Paris as a destination on the US market, especially on the legendary New York-Paris route, a symbol of Franco-American friendship. He will take part in various events to support commercial and cultural exchange between the two countries, including a meeting organized by the Alliance Française / French Institute in the presence of senior executives from Delta and Boeing and many leaders of the Group's corporate customers. On behalf of Air France-KLM, he will receive an award celebrating the company's actions and those of its staff at the service of transatlantic ties. He will take part in several prime-time American TV shows to defend and promote the image of Air France and the Air France-KLM group. This trip is also an opportunity to be present at events to pay homage to the victims of the attacks and show support for France.

I have heard that some of the most popular tourist areas are temporarily closed. True or not, the rumor is probably enough to keep people home.
