What kind of travel are you interested in? Are you looking for a week on the beach, an adventure trip, or sightseeing?

Don't be afraid to travel alone, and don't be afraid to try new experiences, such as youth hostels, if you haven't already. If you're intersted in backpacking Europe, my favorite website is: http://www.eurotrip.com/index.html

There are lots of people your age traveling alone. I've travelled alone through parts of Europe, Asia, the Middle East, and North Africa.

Another good place to look for information is Lonely Planet's website along with it's popular message board: http://thorntree.lonelyplanet.com/thorn/branches.pl?Cat=

Also, there are some very low budget tours in Europe that are lots of fun and you'll meet loads of people--I did a one week trip with Haggis in Scotland and had a blast:

Anyway, don't stay home--get out there and go!
