    AMT Day
    Aviation Maintenance Technician Day

Per US House of Representative Resolution-
May 24, a day “to honor the professional men and women who ensure the safety and security of our airborne aviation infrastructure, and recognize the life and memory of Charles E. Taylor, the aviation maintenance technician who built and maintained the engine that was used to power the Wright brothers first controlled flying machine on December 17, 1903.”

As the saying goes- The Wright brothers made a glider, but Charles Taylor made the glider an airplane.

Thanks to the mechanics that “keep em flying”.

Oh yeah!! You folks get my vote! Thank you all.
Considering every April 15, AMT is a dirty word in our household--don't get crazy--in IRS Speak it's Alternate Minimum Tax. The epitome of government bureaucracy at it's worst...
