With the economy as slow as it is I have thought for the last few months that this fall was going to be the time to travel. I had figured there would be deals after summer (mid-September) but I have been blown away by some of the steals I have seen. Cruise prices are starting to look good but they are not down to where they were two years ago in the fall but, I think they will be soon. Specials in Vegas and Orlando seem to be everywhere. As good as it is going to be I won't be able to take full advantage of it. My wife just had a baby in July and so travel will be limited but I still plan on going on a couple of quick getaways to...

I haven't noticed anyone talk about ebay in this forum yet. I think that ebay is a great place to pick up last minute hotel or timeshare packages. Just click the link to travel and then the link to lodging. Beware of anything that offers show tickets with lodging though. These are usually someone trying to pitch a timeshare sales presentation. Within a short period of time you will be able to spot these from a mile away. These are some of the deals that I have seen recently.
