whatever your heart desires!!
If you can get a flight, you can get a major bargain.
I don't know if you get email pitches from interline agencies but they are whippin out some super specials!
13 nights on NCL balcony $400/pax EU cruise
$44 room Four Queens Resort outside of DC (ready, colorado??) plus other goodies
$50-60/pax AI in Punta Cana (how bad can that be if there's good weather?-Don't forget the departure fees)
and some fall specials:
http://www.dynamictravel.com/vacationexpress.pdfSo, pack the bags, quit worrying about furloughs, you can't get there if you don't have a job!! (That didn't sound so good after I typed it--but you know what I mean.) What's a few more bucks in debt if you have a great vacation! Think of all the gas you aren't paying for at home driving to the grocery and liquor store and pool...

Far Better to have listed and lost, than to have never have listed at all.

With the economy as slow as it is I have thought for the last few months that this fall was going to be the time to travel. I had figured there would be deals after summer (mid-September) but I have been blown away by some of the steals I have seen. Cruise prices are starting to look good but they are not down to where they were two years ago in the fall but, I think they will be soon. Specials in Vegas and Orlando seem to be everywhere. As good as it is going to be I won't be able to take full advantage of it. My wife just had a baby in July and so travel will be limited but I still plan on going on a couple of quick getaways to...

I haven't noticed anyone talk about ebay in this forum yet. I think that ebay is a great place to pick up last minute hotel or timeshare packages. Just click the link to travel and then the link to lodging. Beware of anything that offers show tickets with lodging though. These are usually someone trying to pitch a timeshare sales presentation. Within a short period of time you will be able to spot these from a mile away. These are some of the deals that I have seen recently.

Washington D.C. Hilton. Two blocks from The White House. Two night stay in a double room for $10.50.

Daytona Florida. 3 nights in a 2 bedroom ocean walk condo for $55.00

Reno NV 1 bedroom condo, 7 nights for $15.00.

Avon Colorado, 1 bedroom condo for 7 nights, $61.00.

Maui Banyon Vacation Club, 1 bedroom condo for 7 nights, $99.00.

Orlando Fl. 3 bedroom condo for 7 nights, $157.50.

Happy bidding.

First i32red, congratulations on your new baby.

I've got to say those prices are GRRRREAT!. But, as someone who has never bid on anything on the internet (I know-I know) I have to ask, how do you know when something is too good to be true? Because I've got to tell you, I would have passed on all of these "bargains", thinking them to be nicely disguised time-share deals. Guess what I want to know is, do you have any eBay tips, or better yet, is there a school for rookies?

You got that right migflanker. You go to this 10.50 a night place and suddenly, there is loud construction or renovations going on, or you stumbled into some hotel in the ghetto.
