Kevin, be advised that "buddy pass" seems to mean something completely different at other airlines.. Other airlines usually charge a significant amount for them and they typically need to be ordered with the destination intended up front, unlike ours that are generic and can be used for whatever, whenever.
I didn't know this at first either.
Basically we don't really have any use for other airline's buddy passes because they are no better than a ZED or ID90, which we already get through our own pass bureau.
Need CO buddy pass ASAP
Kevin, what do you need a CO buddy pass for? Did you receive my PM?
The only reason I could see why anybody would want to "TRADE" buddy passes is because their airline does not go to foreign terminals. SWA doesn't fly abroad that I know of, whereas CO does. A one to one trade of a buddy pass would be a lopsided trade off, beneficial to the SWA guy but not to the CO guy because BUDDY PASSES at CO cost more traveling overseas than CONUS buddy passes. Significantly more.
Yeah but why a buddy pass? Would he not be just as well off with a ZED ticket?
