Yes and no.. The way it works is due to a tax issue, the passes had to start being reported as taxable income and thus had to be given a value. The company determined that the passes are worth $40 each. So what happens is, each time passes are distributed they add $40 additional per pass to the gross pay of each check and then deduct it at the same time. They do this so that we can pay the income tax on the $40. So we don&#39;t actually PAY that $40 per pass, we pay the income tax on $40... It&#39;s negligible.
