I am new to this site so sorry if this question has already been answered. I am a horizon air employee and i have passes to fly to toyko on NW.
My question is.... My routing is sea-nrt. I want to fly out of Portland instead. keep in mind it is the same price from portland or seatte. Will the gate agent accept my ticket with the sea routing?
my coworkers say they will and they have done it. I am just trying to make sure.
They should, per the ZED conditions, but it's always up to the agent.
are you talking zed tickets or global passes?

It is not a zed fare. We pay a service charge and it is the same price from anywhere in the us to go asia. People tell me that the gate agent will accept it. Others tell me that i should try to change the routing.
The reason why i am wondering is because i am going tomorrow and dont have time to get a new ticket.
