Default Non rev on AF A380 JFK-CDG. Did you get business class seat ?

Hello Non rev PROs ! Let me know if you did this flight and were able to get business seat.
As a DL non rev, i was not able to list myself on travel net even though it's AF DL code share flight.

Even though it's a codeshare, it is still operated by AF, so you can't just nonrev on it like it was a DL flight. I know that AF and DL have a special agreement now, like a half priced ZED, or service charge or something like that that is cheaper than a regular ZED. You still have to buy the ticket very similar to a ZED, and officially it is for travel in Y only.

Totally depends on the individuals working the flight that day. When I was a gate agent, I always put all the nonrevs in F, even if it wasn't in the agreement, because hopefully it comes back around to me at some point. I've heard that the majority of gate agents at AF are pretty strict about Y only. Not sure what happens if Y is full and J is open. EK in SYD moved some Y pax to J to get me on in Y, as they wouldn't put me on in J. Always nicer when Y is full and they just stick you in J.

    Good luck with your trip.

DL/AF agreement is zed low and one AF agent summed it up: "not possible" when asked about upgrade (must be a strict policy)
It is easy to list directly on their website. The link is: travelnet, interline, OAL indez, select AF, listing (lower left) codes supplied.
Once you list, it shows your listing position.

AF is one of the easier companies to get an upgrade on once you've boarded though, at least if you're crew.

Just present yourself kindly to the cabin crew as being a pilot or a flight attendant traveling on stby and half the time they'll take you apart and put you up front. At least, that's my own personal experience with them, but then I am fluent in French AND I play the little trick with the box of Belgian chocolats which I bring as a small thank you... ;-)
