    Default Pinnacle vs. ASA

I'm applying for several jobs right now, and need a little help. I'm applying for EV in AMA and 9E in LBB.

How do the benefits and pay compare across companies?

Also, if you get hired with one, are you able to TDY with a station that is the other? Most of the places I would look to TDY (if it would work out, I know it's not easy to get TDY these days) would be EV, if I get hired by 9E, would that restrict me or could I do TDY anywhere where it's DL?

Does anyone have any positive/negative experiences with either company to share?

    Thanks for your time!

You can only TDY in your employers station. A 9E employee cannot TDY in a DL or EV or any other conx carrier station

Also, what are the companion benefits like if you're single? Are you able to have a companion that would fly with the same benefits as spouse? More expensive?

If you are single you are alloted one companion designable once per year. The companion flies at the same priority as the pass-rider but must pay a yield fare- ie. 3.5 cents per mile.

I also see some ready reserve for DL proper in some cities I am interested in. What exactly does ready reserve entail and what is the pay range for starting out?

I appreciate everyone's help with this.

Also, would it be possible to work part-time for any combination of 9E, EV and DL? Most of what I'm seeing is part-time, but since all are for DL, didn't know if that would cancel out conflict of interest claims.

TDY is going to be hard to come by with ASA with so little stations since the merger with DL/NW. I had a position with ASA that was possible to do a lot of TDY, I even TDYed in a OH station. Pay is probably comparable and ASA has the edge with flying benefits from what I hear 9E have. With the merger of XE I would think there would be better potential with EV.
From all the airlines I've worked for all have an agreement that you cannot work for any OAL, so in short you couldn't work for a combo of 9E, EV and DL.
For DL and ready reserve you are capped at 1300 hours per year. Starting pay now is 10.82/hr with it increasing to 11.07 in Sept...but depends on when you were hired and would eventually go to the latter. BTW you do not get a yearlying raise with ready reserve. You get good flying benefits but nothing else. DL is much more competetive when it comes to moving up IMO.
