Traveling WITH Kids
Ok--there have to be some good stories out there!
I stole this--the person who related it was in the row behind these two:
Mom: Tommy, stop that.
two minutes pass
Mom: I said STOP that, Tommy.
a few more minutes of peace and quiet
Mom: TOMMMMY! STOP IT.
brief silence, then
Tommy: It's ok, Mom, I ate it.

I take my two daughters somewhere every Easter. Some years have been with my wife, while others have been just the 3 of us.
Last year it was just the girls & I. After a day of sightseeing, we got onto the train and sat near a man we had chatted with in the station. As we talked on the ride back to Munich he mentioned how lovely my wife was. I thanked him before it dawned on me he was talking about my oldest (13 yr old) daughterHe assumed she was my wife and my 7 yr old was our daughter!
