Default Question regarding non-reving on UAL and DL

    Hello everyone,

I am an OAL employee and plan on non-reving it to Japan in early Nov. On UAL and DL if the back is full do they release NRSA passengers to business class or OAL employees are just out of luck. I really don't care whether I'm in coach or anywere on the aircraft I just want to get there.

Thank you for any insight you can provide.

DL policy is typically upgrading medallion/high fare rev pax to bizelite and seating OAL's in coach. It more noticeable now, so I assume there have been instructions to that effect.
I see a lot more of this, whereas in the past it was all nonrevs up front if open. I'll be happy to ck seat avail on DL if I'm able to access info (who knows where I'll be in Nov??)

    Chepos .... You're USAir?
If so, you're a Star Alliance partner and you board at BP9. That's just above UA employees and eligibles and before all other airline staff.
You're one of a very few Star carriers we do not have a reciprocal ZED Low in C class with, so which class you end up in, could depend heavily on the Gate closeout Team.
If you'd like to check loads, send me a PM.
    Good luck !
