This is a bit wierd. I mentioned about a bottle of Corona I bought in Cancun, which in turn I recalled buying them before that way on Cozumel, maybe even in Acapulco. The one that says FAMILIAR. I had to go to Kroger here in Houston when I stumbled across what? That same bottle of Corona Familiar. This one says 1quart or 32 FL. Oz. I wish I could have been more vigilant as to what the bottle in Cancun said. But nonetheless, they weigh about the same and feel about the same. Now, this cold beer I just pulled out of the refrigerator, I am about to TEST to see if it TASTE the same. The only turnoff I see this far is the little red writing at the bottom of the lable, says...IMPORTED BEER-HECHO EN MEXICO. For some reason, imported beer taste like garbage to me. The PACIFICO beer I had in Cancun tasted much better than the ones here in Houston, in which it forced me to place them in my "BEER WALL OF SHAME". So, less typing and more swallowing this cold beer, so I can share my findings.....one minute please.....Oh, sorry I left out a slight detail. I have a bag full of key limes I sliced up and threw a quarter of a keylime into my bottle like I did down in Cancun....and so far.....so good....I like it......give me some more time please........stay put......yea.....yes....it beats that garbage called MODELO and beats the heck out of that yellow lookin CORONA EXTRA that tasted real salty to me. I got to admit, I am a little surprised on how good it taste even here in Texas. Well, I'm not in CANCUN anymore, but I can fantasize for a while. Man that was a neat getaway. I think I'll finish up this bottle of CORONA FAMILIAR outside in 50's degree weather, unlike the 70 degrees I was last having this bottle. Gotta put on my flannel shirt. See you guys later.
