OK ya'll pretty much know the background to this story, so I will start it in Hong Kong. After paying for a flight to Hong Kong and another to Manila/Clark my son again got stuck. He arrived in Hong Kong unable to use the flight purchased on SEAIR/Tiger Airways because they failed to email us his electronic ticket. They have a requirement that he MUST have a hard copy of that electronic ticket to board, no matter that he has ID and it is in thier computer. OK, what now?

We purchase ANOTHER ticket to get him to Manila on Philippine airlines..BUT there is not 1 seat available except on Christmas eve, so 2 more nights to stay in Hong Kong.

I go online to find him a hotel or hostle nearby, but not knowing the area I decide to CALL one of the agencies to be safe...yeah right! I explain to them that he is IN TRANSIT to the Philippines, that I need something reasonable, nearby, with a shuttle.

They give me this Hotel and say it is a paid shuttle, so I say OK and book it. They say we have to call Hotel for shuttle...LOL..I call and they speak NO ENGLISH AT ALL. I call back agency and ask them to caontact hotel, they come back to me and tell me "well they really do not have a shuttle, they just send a Taxi, and it is cheaper if he just goes outside and gets a taxi" OK so they give me directions saying give this address to Taxi driver and it will be fine, he will take him to hotel.

So Michael does that and then finds himself dropped off at a BUS Shuttle and told he will take that and then get another taxi at the end??? HUH??? So he does that and finds himself at a boarder and immigration checkpoint to CHINA???? They tell him he needs to go back to airport, apply for visa which will take about a week???? Come on guys...WTF.. So he turns around and uses last of his money to get back to airport, where we continue to run up an international cell bill.

I am on the phone fighting with this so called travel booking agency, they say it is now after midnight, so I have lost my money for tonights room and I will be penalized for tommorrows, on top of that they can not get him another room for the night because it is after midnight and they can only book for the next day.

Another night on the floor for Michael, but the next morning I have found him a room at a Hostle IN HONK KONG right on the busline. Michael goes and checks in, feels better because he gets a shower, but when he sticks his nose out on the street again he get the crap scared out of him....lol it is rush hour in Asia 9Hong Kong). Mommy I want to go sleep at the airport, I am scared here!!!! We calm him down and after rush hour is over he is OK and goes to find food.

He returns to the airport the next morning, gets his flight and finally makes it to Manila on Christmas Eve, and to my Future Daughter in Law's house just in time for presents and Xmas Eve dinner.

I am now dealing with my bank regarding the SEAIR and Hotel charges...Michael is home safe...and has no desire to travel for awhile. Anyone think I can get him to Mexico for EASTER??? LMAO
