Thread: Upgrading to First class?

Very few US carriers upgrade oal passengers, heck our own carrier won't upgrade us unless we pay $20 bucks domestic and $100 tatl/Hawaii.
I believe one of the few exceptions out there is HA. I mut say I was extremely lucky coming out of AMS in early MAR on my way to PDX, they moved me up front on DL. This is the first time in the many times I have flown on DL that this has happened to me (the exception not the norm)- very grateful to the nice people over in AMS. I am just happy to get on the plane.
