I just went to a site that calculates distances, and I'll say, man, it does take a crud load of travel to break a million. I doubt I even have that. Calculating 22 trips across the Pacific (minimully) only calculates to like 6683 Iah-Nrt, and like IAH-Mnl only 8593 or something close to that. It's impossible to calculate for me, to try to remember all of my flights, but it looks like I would probably be short of a million miles. (That's a shittle load of miles.)

But all those miles you travel in break of a miles travelled record, you basically fly over alot of neat places. Too much time on seat. Best to hit the most countries you can, and hard to get to places that most never see. It's a neat world, many hidden jewels, can never cover all in one life time.

    Exactly!

I spend 25-31 days every month riding around on airplanes, or working them if I park in 1 location for any period of time. I averaged over 800 miles/day last year.

I actually enjoy driving to places(if I don't get a ticket), or taking the train in the northeast US. Sometimes I get tired of sitting in the airplane...sometimes.

But I never imagined I'd end up in Diego Garcia, or Mozambique, or Suriname, etc, etc.

There are tons of incredible places to see. Nobody will ever get to them all, but I'll get to as many as I can
