Default US Airways ZED privileges suspended with Cathay Pacific....:(

I've been told it's something to do with CX converting computer/etickets etc. Does anyone else have this (hopefully temporary) embargo for their ZEDs with CX?

Are you sure this is current as Cathay did put an embargo on when it updated its Res system .. but that was back at the start of the year !!

No, I think Tony757 may be right. CX has issued ultimatums about eTicketing ZED travel. I'm just surprised they'd suspend their agreement with US.

Hmmm... I've seen nothing about a suspension by CX for United employees, and double checked our agreement. Looks good as far as I can tell.

Hi There. Cathay Pacific is now only allowing e-tickiting, and from what I have been told, only via MyIDTravel.com. From what I have seen in the news, US Airways has signed an LOI with MyIDTravel, so once you are online with that system, you should get CX back.

CX is primarily working through myIDTravel for its ZED transactions but is being flexible with some airlines to allow interline electronic ticketing to be processed out side that tool. UA , which uses ID90, s a good example of that, as is AA which currently does not subscribe to either system for ticketing.
