The pins belong to one of the four flight attendants killed on AA Flight# 77.

Kenneth Lewis (husband of Jennifer Lewis) Normally they flew separately, they worked this flight so they could vacation together.
The two pins were discovered in the ruins of the terrorist attack on the Pentagon and sent to Dover AFB. Eventually they ended up in a display case at Dover and it was there, in the latter part of 2012, that USO Delaware Director Joan Cote saw them, contacted American, and the journey home began.
The pins will go on permanent display at AA’s C.R. Smith Museum .
Laura Glading, Association of Professional Flight Attendants president, said the discovery of the wings and pin moved her to tears.
“Even 12 and a half years later, our hearts are broken.”
