    The hotels where I have gotten a discount in the past have advised me they will ask for my employee ID when I check in. Most of the time, I am not asked at check in but every now and then I am asked so I would simply make a call and discuss discounts with reservations. You might get a similar (or at least good) discount simply by being a AAA or ARP member.
