Do you have to have employee ID to access travel industry discounts?
We're parents and love the nonrev adventure - right up to the point where we get stuck overnight. LAX and JFK are my LEAST favorite, so far.
;-)
Thanks,

Not sure re: "parental rights" for nonrev discounts. I'd just call each location directly and ask.
I'd be looking into hotel credit cards.
Chase Marriott offers 1 free nt certificate+points.
Starwood (Marriott eventually) has great point deals.
Amex cards offer auto upgrade to gold status so you get lots of perks.
Call Accor hotels and ask if they extend airline discounts for Delta parents (may have to email). I am guessing you'll have to have your "child" access for you via DLnet but I don't know for sure.
See PM for JFK advice...

The hotels where I have gotten a discount in the past have advised me they will ask for my employee ID when I check in. Most of the time, I am not asked at check in but every now and then I am asked so I would simply make a call and discuss discounts with reservations. You might get a similar (or at least good) discount simply by being a AAA or ARP member.

You could probably use the hotels.com discount that dlnet uses without any issues.
Before anyone asks, it is not a code, you have to access it though dlnet.
