The world's busiest airports by passenger traffic are measured by total passengers, defined as passengers enplaned plus passengers deplaned plus direct-transit passengers. Although not in the top ten(#13), PVG has the largest passenger increase, up 17.7%.
1. ATL (over 100 million pax 101,491,106)
2. PEK (Up 4.4%, 10mil shy of ATL)
3. DXB (Up 10% and 3 slots)
4. ORD (Up 9.8% and 3 slots)
5. HND (Up 3.5% down 1 slot)
6. LHR (Up 2.1% down 3 slots)
7. LAX (Up 6% down 2 slots, 19,000 shy of LHR)
8. HKG (Up 8% and 2 slots)
9. CDG (Up 3% down 1 slot)
10. DFW (Up 1% down 1 slot)
